ABOUT ABOUT

Harvard Business Review says that Managing UP is a critical concept for upward movement in an organization. A conscious approach to working with your supervisor toward goals that are important to both of you, managing up can help you build a productive working relationship with your boss and create opportunities to deliver value to your company.

This discussion is designed for business owners, non-profit leaders/staff, attorneys, women on the corporate ladder and even CEOs; as all of these positions report to someone. Managing UP practices can be used to build relationships with business partners, clients, investors, board of directors, directors, managing partners…

This dynamic panel of area leaders will provide their insight on this issue, discuss how they have managed up during their careers, and what they value and appreciate from individuals who work with/for:
• Kate Kinslow, CEO of Aria Health
• Gloria Rabinowitz, President of Wharton Alumni Club of Philadelphia and Owner of GCM Group
• Autumn Bayles, President of the Forum of Executive Women and Vice President of Strategic Development at ARAMARK

Moderated by Melissa Dietrich, President of PWR and Regional Account Executive with Greater Philadelphia Chamber.
