Lesley Mallow Wendell, brings more than 20 years of experience as an executive leader, mentor and innovator in helping organizations and individuals enhance their effectiveness.


Lesley has facilitated talent management and leadership development programs for groups and individuals at all organizational levels for more than 20 years. Having coached seasoned CEOs, senior management teams and individual contributors, Lesley tailors her approach to meet the multi-faceted needs of her clients. She uses a variety of approaches, techniques and assessment tools, including the DiSC Profiler, Myers Briggs Type Indicator®, CPI 260® and TKI®. Lesley also holds certification in SchellingPoint software platforms that maximize organizational alignment. She has facilitated strategic planning and leadership retreats for organizations and professional associations. Each engagement is designed specifically for the individual client.


In 2008, the Women Presidents’ Organization selected Lesley to chair its Philadelphia Chapter. In addition to her organizational work, she has developed and taught courses in Leadership, Writing for Business and Effective Negotiation at Cedar Crest College, where she was an adjunct faculty member in the Management Department. Lesley also serves as a leadership development consultant for Sage Management Consulting, Inc. and Oliver Wyman Leadership Development, specifically in the area of talent management. With Priscilla Rosenwald and Leadership Recruiters, she has launched TransitionWorks, a program that provides consulting services to nonprofit organizations undergoing an executive transition. A frequently quoted leadership and career development expert in local and national business publications, Lesley has appeared on local and national radio and TV.


Prior to establishing Rosewood Consulting Group in 2001, Lesley served as chief executive of a Philadelphia-based career and human resource consulting organization. She held previous positions in advertising and academia. During eleven years as Director of Career Services at Widener University, Lesley chaired the university’s Committee on Multicultural Understanding and trained groups and individuals on issues related to diversity.


Lesley is active in various professional associations and community organizations. She served as a director of the Forum of Executive Women and chaired its Mentoring Committee. She is a past chair and long time director of WOMENS WAY and is on the advisory board of the Professional Women’s Roundtable. Lesley serves on the Program Committee of the Philadelphia Human Resource Planning Society, and is a past director of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management. She is currently serving a 3 year term on the Women’s Advisory Board for PNC Wealth Management.


Lesley is a frequent keynote speaker to professional organizations on matters of leadership development. She was honored by Business Philadelphia as one of 1997's “Women to Watch” and in 2006, by the Career Wardrobe during their “Story of a Suit” celebration. Lesley earned an M.S. in Human Resource Management from Widener University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
